I don’t quite know why, but I’m starting to feel a bit of a buzz in the air at MyGardenSchool. Perhaps it’s because it’s The Chelsea Flower Show Week. (Congrats btw to Andy McIndoe, our MyGardenSchool tutor who has just broken the RHS record by winning a 66th consecutive gold medal!). Anyway enough about Chelsea (for now).
We’ve had a good few weeks. Recording with Francine Raymond (ex fashion designer turned hen expert!). Francine has a regular column in The Telegraph - and I have to say, I didn’t think I was a natural chicken lover, but I was surprised at how exciting hens really are if they are kept well! And as for fresh eggs every morning. Nice. Other things that are happening are we’re being reviewed by The Gay Gardener, we appeared in More From Your Garden, and quite a lot of other press which is giving us some nice healthy traffic to the site from interested parties.
Anyway people keep asking me which are our most popular online gardening courses. This of course depends how you measure it. And we’ve only been going a month! I also suspect seasonality will play a part. But early signs say that these courses are the current front runners in terms of interest this month.. Edible Gardening Made Easy, (this is the one in the video above), Flower Photography, John Brookes garden design course, Decorating Your Room Outside, and Planting Design. Of course, I mustn’t have favourites. And don’t! But I would like to give a special mention to Andy McIndoe’s Lawns Course, and David Parfitt’s Design Your Own Treehouse Course. Perfect for Father’s day..*crikey really must look up when it is again!*.. Think I know what you’re getting Dad :o)
